THE AUSSIE NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT SUNSHINE COAST IN THE EARLY HOURS OF SATURDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Sunshine Coast 5.08 Profit (10/11)
Yet to win at this trip but the way he finished last time for second the extra yardage should prove ideal now; picked up well but just failed to get to the winner; just a 3yo so more to come yet and should prove too strong for these.
The NAP won on Thursday and then could only manage second on Friday so we’ll be looking to get it back firing on Saturday morning and head to Sunshine Coast. PROFIT catches the eye off a very good run when second to Shalwa at Doomben. He looks to be crying out for this trip again and even though he hasn’t won over it yet after two attempts I think it will prove ideal now. He is open to further improvement and should take care of this bunch. Oink and A Man To Match head the dangers.

Race 7 Flemington 7.35 The Inevitable (6/4)
Won eight times from twelve career starts and should get his head back in front on first start for Patrick Payne in a very winnable race; last seen down the field here but had excuses and taken to bounce back in calmer waters.
Confidence seems to be growing surrounding THE INEVITABLE and it will be disappointing if he can’t return to winning ways on first start for his new trainer. This looks a good race to get his confidence back on the up and he should be up to adding a ninth career win. Esperance is the only conceivable danger for me. He gets a nice pull at the weights and should be suited by how this pans out but he lacks the class of the favourite and I’ll be surprised if he finishes in front of him.
