We landed a nice Notebook winner Down Under on Friday morning as Nemingah scored at Sunshine Coast. We’ll be looking to back that up on Saturday and head to Doomben where SHALWA catches the eye. She is red-hot right now winning three of her last four and I can see her getting on the lead here and doing it nicely. Seat Of Power has been well backed and is a threat along with Milk Man. The latter shaped well when third at Randwick last time and should go well.

Race 7 Sandown 6.45 Masked Crusader (6/4)
Progressive sort who was mightily impressive at Caulfield on final start last season before doing well to win over an inadequate trip at Bendigo last month, briefly denied a run; sure to improve and ticks plenty of boxes here.
We head to Sandown for our second tracker horse Down Under on Saturday morning and MASKED CRUSADER looks a horse to stick with. He blew rivals away on final start last season over this trip and picked up where he left off to score on return over shorter at Bendigo. He was held up the last day so did well to make the ground up and come through and win. The extra yardage will be ideal with that effort under his belt and I think he’s hard to pick holes in. Ancestry landed a hat-trick of wins last time and looks a threat.
