We stick with a filly in form for our first tracker horse overnight and ARROGANT MISS should take a bit of stopping in the opener at Alice Springs. She’s been a winning machine for connections and this looks easier if anything so another win surely beckons? Military Road has only raced four times and should have further progress to come so is definitely looming as a danger. Soldierofthebrave was only fourth of fifth last time but he is capable of better and is also entitled to be thereabouts. It’s the favourites to lose though.

Powered through testing conditions to win well at Wellington on return last month; tough ask at Randwick last time where caught wide and was hampered; fitter now and this easier so should prove too good for these; one to keep on side.
We head to Dubbo on Sunday morning for our second tracker horse Down Under and WHAT THE FUSS should take a bit of beating in Race 6 for Kody Nestor and Greg Ryan. He won as he liked on return at Wellington and while he was down the field last time he had excuses and he looks a decent bet to bounce back in this company. Bensay won at Coonabarabran last time and she’s a filly who promises to do better so should put up the most resistance to the selection. Gold Codes is also likely to be on the premises.
