Race 8 Tamworth 7.40 Agrapart (11/8)
Improved a chunk to win impressively on her return over track and trip a fortnight ago; sure to step forward again and looks the one to beat even with the step up in class; plenty of potential going forward.
It’s a quiet night Down Under and not much standing out but AGRAPART looks to have solid credentials in Race 8 at Tamworth. She is a smart filly who showed improved form to open her account over C&D last time. With further gains likely given that was her first start since September she will be hard to beat under Kyle Wilson-Taylor. 11/8 looks very fair and I can see her going off shorter. Lord Tony also won over C&D last time and is a consistent sort so rates the biggest danger. Atum looks value to hit the frame.

Race 7 Ballarat 6.30 Appraise (11/4)
Two wins from six starts over this trip and goes well fresh so plenty going for him; good draw too so should secure a decent position early; obvious shout granted usual luck in running; sure to go close.
We head to Ballarat for our NB in Australia on Monday morning and APPRAISE looks to have been found a good opportunity to get his head back in front for John Blacker. He does well over this trip and from a good draw should take full advantage. Pershing is the danger as he won at Bairnsdale before backing that up when second at Kilmore. More to come so should figure. Bar the front pair it’s hard to see any other major players. At a bigger price Tahlayla may snatch a place.
