Race 3 Pinjarra 6.49 Frequent Friar (6/4)
Improving all the time and ran best race to date when second on first crack at this trip last month; stepped forward again last time, getting too far back but running on strongly beaten less than two lengths; more to come now and the one to beat here.
With Pike on board FREQUENT FRIAR looks a good bet to open his account at the fifth time of asking. He clearly gets this trip well having finished strongly the last twice and if ridden a bit closer with some luck in running he will be the one finishing best of all in the closing stages. He can improve again and everything points towards a big run! Night Session was beaten less than a length last time so has strong form claims while Alby’s Pride can’t be entirely ruled out as he looks on the upgrade too. The fav is the one though.

Race 2 Kensington 4.25 Frosty Rocks (2/1)
Made the breakthrough at Warwick Farm last month, winning well; trip looks ideal and expected to follow up under Kerrin McEvoy; one to keep on side not only today but going forward as well; progressive.
We head to Kensington for our NB on Wednesday and FROSTY ROCKS looks a horse to stick with following his maiden success over this trip at Warwick Farm last time. He is open to further progress and looks a good bet to go in again under McEvoy. On another day he may well have been a NAP given my confidence behind his chance. Hulk has more to offer so has to be respected but looks to be bumping into one here. Invincible Diva has been trialling well so should hit the frame.
