Deauville 12.10 Sur Ma Vie (7/2)
Likeable filly who is lightly raced for her age; landed back-to-back handicaps at Saint Cloud last autumn; very good second on return here in March; consistent and with more to come should have every chance of getting her head back in front here.
It’s a difficult card at Deauville on Thursday so we’ve opted for a NAP at a nice price and SUR MA VIE looks to be worth the risk. She hasn’t been out the top three in her past six runs winning two of them. With a bit of luck in running she will go very close here under Hardouin. Gugus Des Brieres is probably the main danger but I have to admit there are a few. The latter has only raced three times so should have more to come. Dubai Empire is also considered with experience on side.

Deauville 3.10 Merci Merci (9/2)
Improving filly who has really got the hang of things lately, finishing second at Le Croise-Laroche and then backing that up to go down just three-quarters of a length at Pornichet last time; this looks to be run to suit and should go close.
The betting suggests this is extremely competitive but in truth it might not take a great deal of winning and MERCI MERCI is expected to be rewarded for her consistency here. She has knocked on the door the last twice and there is plenty in favour here suggesting she will go close. Lance D’Estuaire looks a danger as she went down just a neck at Fontainebleau last time and if backing that up will be involved at the finish. Miss Rafael won that race so also comes into the reckoning.
