Sunday’s UK Notebooks

We head to Haydock and Chelmsford to start a new week. The Tracker Double pays 8/1!

BOTH NOTEBOOKS WON ON SATURDAY! REMEMBER IT’S PROFITALE TO FOLLOW!

Haydock 3.50 Saisons D’Or (5/2)

Smart sort who ran a cracker back from 7 months off the track going down just a neck at Newcastle last week; pair nicely clear from the rest; a repeat of that would see him take the beating here; fitness-edge could count for a lot.

I know he’s favourite but at 5/2 SAISONS D’OR makes plenty of appeal. He pulled readily clear from the rest when going down just a neck to Little Jo at Newcastle last week and a similar performance here should suffice. He is a decent sprinter who deserves to get his head in front again. He races off the same mark and has a fitness-edge on these rivals so there won’t be any excuses. Richard Fahey’s Zip is probably the main threat as he won well at Catterick when last seen in October last year but might need the run on return.

OUR SECOND TRACKER RUNS AT CHELMSFORD ON MONDAY!

Chelmsford 4.10 Tone The Barone (5/2)

Progressive form since a wind op winning back-to-back handicaps over C&D in February; remains open to improvement especially on this surface and looks to have strong claims of landing the hat-trick; just 5lb higher.

This looks to revolve around TONE THE BARONE for Stuart Williams. He bolted up over C&D in February and followed up a shade cosily just four days later. He is up 5lb but could still have more to come and looks a good bet to complete the hat-trick. This will be a pace burn-up so he should be carried into it before looking to pounce late under SDS. 5/2 is generous and I think he’ll be well punted. Boom The Groom is on a long losing run but is feared if things fall right. Abel Handy should also figure dropping in grade for a new yard.

Tracker Double

The Notebook Double consists of both tracker runners. Remember these are profitable to follow as singles so it’s always worth combining them as a double as well to maximise profit.
