Frankel colt who made a highly promising start when second to subsequent Guineas fourth Military March at Newmarket in July last year; ran green but finished strongly; should be more streetwise now and likely to take the beating.
I’m looking forward to seeing JACKSONIAN out again for Ralph Beckett. This chestnut colt by Frankel ran a race full of promise on debut at Newmarket chasing home subsequent Guineas fourth Military March. He was well backed just before the off on that occasion but ran green. The penny seemed to drop late and he really ran on strongly in the closing stages beaten just over a length at the line. He is sure to have improved markedly and will know his job now. Looks the most likely winner. Louganini is perhaps the main danger.

Kempton 1.15 Theotherside (5/4)
Dandy Man filly who seemed to quicken twice to win on debut; made all the running and picked up well a furlong out and went again in the closing stages to win cosily; open to plenty of improvement on return and looks a good bet to make it 2-2 here.
There seems to be a fair bit of money about for Its A Given here for Roger Charlton. She made a winning debut at Chelmsford beating Batchelor Boy who has won since but I was more impressed with THEOTHERSIDE and I think Richard Hannon’s filly will prove too good. She looked a really smart type winning on debut and will likely push forward again here and try to repeat the dose. A soft lead looks on the cards and I think they’ll struggle to land a glove on her. It looks between the pair but Expedient is an intriguing newcomer.
