Left first two efforts well behind to finish a promising third here in March, still looking a bit green under pressure; can step forward again and if he does will be hard to beat here in a very winnable race.
The South African NAP is flying right now with back-to-back winners over the last two days. We head to Fairview on Friday in search of the hat-trick and BENGAL CRIMSON is taken to justify favouritism in the Maiden Plate. He ran well last time and if building on that should make the breakthrough. Croisade De Verite is a consistent sort and he should run his race. Possibly the main danger. Amazing Tune also comes into the reckoning on his second last week.

Fairview 2.40 Tawny Jet (2/1)
Improving filly who showed a smart turn of foot to sweep past the entire field and win over C&D in March; penny dropped now so could be lots more to come and looks the most likely winner; sure to go close.
The South African Next Best also runs at Fairview on Friday and TAWNY JET was so impressive last time she has to be the selection here. This is competitive but there was a lot to like about the way she swept past them all last time and she can improve on that so I can’t see how she doesn’t go close. Forget O’Girls was second to the selection last time and looks held on that form. Still one of the most likely to chase her home. At a bigger price Love Talk has the credentials to hit the frame. Might be worth a small saver.
