Fairyhouse 7.45 Memorabilis (6/4)
Galileo colt who obviously needed the experience when well down the field on debut at Gowran sent off a double-figure price; improved plenty on next start to finish third at Tipperary; bred to do better at this trip and likely to improve plenty.
This looks all about MEMORABILIS for Aidan O’Brien. This colt holds an Irish Derby entry and he should come into his own now upped in trip. He showed plenty of promise on his final start as a 2yo and is likely to have improved plenty since. This doesn’t look a strong maiden and he’s fully expected to come out on top. Stablemate Delphi was behind in seventh at Tipperary but can also do better so it wouldn’t be that surprising to see a 1-2 for the stable. Taramansour is also prominent in the betting. Can improve on comeback.

Redcar 7.30 Geetanjali (5/2)
Smart mare who did well over this trip last season winning three times; ran a cracker back from 221 days off the track to finish second at 16/1 at Chelmsford last time; races off the same mark back on turf and sure to improve physically.
There should still be more to come over this trip for GEETANJALI and she gets a confident vote to return to winning ways for Michael Bell. She rattled home from off the pace at Chelmsford on return and was only denied three quarters of a length. With that under her belt over a trip she clearly loves she looks a big player here. I was quite surprised she wasn’t favourite but I guess Nkosikazi could have more to come too. She is a bit short though as has a bit to prove for me. Merryweather isn’t completely ignored either.
