Talented mare who has won three of her last four; always fending off the re-opposing Indy Ice over C&D last time; taken to confirm that form and come out on top again; definitely the one to beat.
Anything Goes drifted out to 2/1 yesterday before staying on strongly and winning easily. We’ll be hoping to follow up that winner this afternoon at Fairview and MERYL looks one to keep on side for Alan Greeff. She showed a good attitude to prevail last time and that could be the form that plays out here with Indy Ice chasing her home in second. The latter did make up a lot of ground before narrowly going down and is a danger but I can’t see him reversing it. Mangrove is not entirely ruled out and should run well.

Fairview 11.30 Find Me Unafraid (5/2)
Promising colt who looked clueless on debut until the penny dropped and then he powered home; beaten just three-quarters of a length into third and will be much more streetwise now; could be the one to beat.
There was a lot of promise to take from the debut of FIND ME UNAFRAID over C&D. You could visually see the penny drop and he really started to power home but the line just came too soon. He will know more now and looks a major player to go a couple better. There are a couple of dangers. Calgary is fav and is a half-brother to Calvary so has to be feared. Danilo is also making his debut and has been supported so is another to note. Hopefully the experience the selection has will stand him in good stead.
