Half-sister to Barbarian who won five times over a mile and 1m1f; plenty of encouragement to take from her third on debut at Vaal over 6f; step up in trip can help and good opportunity to open her account.
This looks a good race for SEEHAM to take. She showed plenty on debut and with usual improvement will prove too good for these. She is a well related filly who can keep progressing with racing. She will probably push forward again and can open her account at just the second attempt. Stunning is probably the standout danger as she has plenty of experience to draw upon and ran well when second at Vaal over this trip last time. Be surprised if the favourite doesn’t improve past her though.

Turffontein 11.50 Muleta (13/8)
Half-sister to Jella Loochee who won four times at 5f and was beaten just half a length by Mamaquera when second on debut at Vaal over further; plenty of speed so drop back in trip looks ideal and she should go one better with that under her belt.
The speedy MULETA is taken to go one better here for Robbie Sage. She was only touched off by a neck on debut over 6f and the drop back in trip can see her run out victorious. Her breeding suggests she will do well over this trip so it was all the more encouraging to see her go so close over 6f at the first time of asking. This doesn’t look overly strong so it will be disappointing if she doesn’t win. Likely to be a short price come post time! Sweet Sensation makes her debut and is feared most but obviously lacks any experience.
