Race 9 Rockhampton 7.04 Absolut Artie (5/6)
Smart grey who dictated and won well at Mackay back in May before placing at that track the next two starts; back to winning ways in this grade here last time and obvious chance of following up; should push forward and dominate again.
Sticking with the likeable ABSOLUT ARTIE here for Ricky Vale and Ryan Wiggins. He has early speed to burn and will push forward from his wide gate and look to make all. He did it well here last time and has plenty going for him again in a winnable race. Hard to pinpoint an exact danger in behind as it looks competitive but Eschiele is probably good value to hit the frame. Won two of his last three so should run well without being good en0ugh to trouble the favourite.

Race 5 Ballarat 5.30 Miss Tenthousand (10/11)
Improving filly who only went down narrowly at Pakenham last time; slowly getting the hang of things and if they keep a lid on her in the prelims she should make the breakthrough at the fourth attempt; keep safe.
A good draw should see MISS TENTHOUSAND just tuck in off the pace and get a good toe into it before proving the strongest close home. She deserves to get her head in front after three promising runs so is a confident selection to come out on top. Hayley’s Storm is the likely leader and she is drawn outside the selection so it will give her something to track through before grabbing a decent position. Hard to see them holding her out close home as long as she gets the gaps she is the most likely winner.
