Smart colt who built on a highly promising return when second to Gin Palace at Newbury to win convincingly at York last time; still looks to be improving and step back up in trip ideal so sure to go close; one to keep firmly on side.
I’ve had my eye on RHYTHMIC INTENT for quite a while and it was good to see him win well at York last time. He had been threatening that sort of a performance for a while now and he promises to build on that up in trip again. He could still be improving and is one to have on side for sure rather than go against. Natty Night should make sure this is run at a true tempo so he will have a target to aim at and should be too strong in the closing stages under Oisin Murphy. The consistent Mayfair Spirit looks the biggest danger.

Chepstow 8.30 Amazon Princess (7/4)
War Command filly who stands out in this race; lightly raced and ran her best race to date chasing home the progressive Le Reveur when second over C&D last time; should win this well if building on that.
Hard to look past AMAZON PRINCESS here following that promising second over C&D last time. She is improving and has the most potential of these so it will be disappointing if she can’t make the most of a very good opportunity. I expect her to go off shorter than the 7/4 on offer now so it’s worth taking the price. Canford Cliffs filly Lafontaine is the danger as she is entitled to tighten up for that first run in 8 months when sixth at Bath. Hard to recommend much else in a race lacking any real strength in depth.
