Dark Angel gelding who is lightly raced; did too much early when fifth at Sandown last time but a repeat of that in the first-time blinkers would give him an outstanding chance to shed the maiden-tag; most likely winner.
Hard to get away from VAPE here for Ralph Beckett. He could lead these a merry dance in the first-time blinkers. He looks a cut above this field on all known form so is hard to oppose and should justify favouritism. Know No Limits is the nearest rival in the betting but she was turned over in claiming company at odds of 11/10 so is readily opposed against the favourite. One Step Too Far makes is debut so will likely need the experience. Everything points towards the selection being tough to beat so good enough for me!

Sandown 12.35 Yibir (6/4)
Dubawi colt who finished third to the exciting Master Of The Seas before improving to finish fifth in a warm maiden on the July Course last month; sets a high standard on that form and will progress again so hard to beat here.
This looks a great chance for Charlie Appleby’s colt YIBIR to get off the mark. He sets a solid standard having chased home Master Of The Seas on debut and then stepped forward to mix it with some promising horses last time. This is easier and he is improving all the time so what’s not to like? Lope De Vega colt King Vega has been supported on his racecourse debut but will need to be plenty forward to challenge the fav. While I’m cautious given the strong support I’m quietly confident the selection will have too much.
