Race 4 Townsville 3.42 Silent Explorer (1/1)
Came from way back to win at Cairns in June and produced two big runs in defeat since finishing second the last twice; should get a great position from the inside lane and with normal luck should go in again.
This looks a great opportunity for SILENT EXPLORER to notch up his sixth career win. He got the start completely wrong here last time and if getting away on terms from a good draw he can prove too good for these. He has plenty of gears as he showed when winning at Cairns in June so if he bounces back to that sort of form they won’t see which way he goes. Unbiased is the obvious danger as the betting suggests. This 8yo has been holding his form well and should run his race. Could pick up the pieces if the fav misses the start.

Race 7 Moruya 7.40 Boom And Zoom (13/8)
Strong type who won well at Sapphire Coast in March coming from off the pace; backed that up with a big second here in April; resumed with a promising effort at Forbes last time and should tighten up for that; the one to beat.
Hopefully BOOM AND ZOOM came out the race well yesterday and she takes her chance here. She finished fourth behind Mr Kylin and looked sure to improve for the run. She is open to plenty of improvement and could brush these aside. She should probably have more wins to her name (six 2nds) so can kick on now. If the selection doesn’t run then it’s a massive opportunity for Raven’s Rabbit to make it two from her last three. She looks the main danger as will look to dominate off the front.
