Smart colt who landed back-to-back wins over track and trip before finishing third last time, forced wide; open to further improvement and should prove too strong for these; hard to get away from.
It’s a bit of a wait for the NAP Stateside but hopefully worthwhile as we head to Fairmount in the early hours of Tuesday morning. W W CANDY looked progressive prior to finishing third here last time and is taken to get back on the up tonight. He had excuses last time and should reverse that form with Just Run. The latter does look the main danger but I just think he lacks the scope of the selection with the favourite open to greater progress being just a 3yo. Stallone is not entirely ruled out but needs to find more.

Useful mare who has knocked hard on the door the last twice; missed by just a neck on penultimate start and just as good going down a head last time; this looks easier and she should get back in the winners enclosure.
We head to Fort Erie for the NB Stateside on Monday night and GIOVANNA PONTI should justify favouritism in Race 2 on the card. The drop in grade should see her go one better following two really encouraging efforts. Hard to see exactly where the pace will come from but she will be finishing best and hopefully she is within range to make it count. Hansen’s Girl was behind the selection on her penultimate start and may emerge as the main danger here. Sheztenthehardway is also worth noting but needs to step forward.
