Smart type who has won two of his four starts to date; justified favouritism at Bundaberg last time; should clear the wide gate and looks worth keeping on side as he is improving with every run.
The NAP Down Under continues to go from strength to strength and we landed a hat-trick of winners last night. We head to Rockhampton on Tuesday morning searching a four-timer and the improving KING KLAUS should be too speedy for rivals in the penultimate race on the card. He has a wide draw but will be quick away and might always be dominating. Lingalonga Lass is also going the right way and is feared most. Monstrosity, Manila Miss and Raptcha’u have all been scratched. Task even easier for the fav!

Race 1 Ballarat 4.00 Classy Pins (7/4)
Promising filly who was well supported on debut before finishing an eye-catching third; looked to need the experience and expected to be more streetwise now; could improve enough to make the breakthrough.
This looks a good opportunity for CLASSY PINS to go a couple of places better. She looked in need of the experience when third here on debut and up in trip now she should make further gains. Northern Bliss is another filly who showed promise on debut finishing fourth at Warrnambool. Like the selection she will improve but I just think the favourite has more scope so should be too good on the day. Blazing Lace obviously has experience on side but it will be disappointing if the top two don’t improve past her.
