Frankel colt who looked to need the experience on debut but improved plenty at Ayr last time seeing off two subsequent winners, always doing enough; can step forward again on handicap debut and a mark of 78 should prove lenient.
I’m keen to keep CHASE THE DOLLAR on side for Mark Johnston. We were with him at Ayr last time and I thought he did that with a bit to spare. The form has been nicely boosted since with the third Innse Gall winning at Ripon and the second Pythagoras going in at Beverley earlier in the week. He goes handicapping now off a mark of 78 and he looks to have been found a good opportunity to follow up. It won’t surprise me if Tom Marquand sends him forward and tries to dominate these. Calcutta Cup looks the main danger.

Galileo colt who recorded two of his three wins at this track as a 2yo; slightly hampered in the Irish Guineas behind Siskin before finishing fourth to stablemate Magical over C&D latest; great chance to get his head back in front.
I’ve always liked ARMORY and I still think he has it in him to run to a very high level of form. That was a solid effort when fourth to Magical over C&D and if he reproduces that again here he should have too much for the likes of Leo De Fury and Sinawann. The former is probably the main danger as he looked good when winning on return before finishing one place behind the selection last time. Ronan Whelan looks most likely to lead which should give the favourite a target to run down.
