Race 8 Saratoga 10.12 Palace Avenger (5/2)
Promising filly who is improving all the time; won two of her last three and showed a great attitude to prevail over track and trip last time, always doing enough; more to come and is hard to get away from again.
Given PALACE AVENGER won over C&D in a stronger race than this last time she is hard to oppose here. She likes to push forward and will look to dominate these rivals. She was always doing enough last time and did it with a bit to spare I thought. She will be even fitter now and should make it three wins from her last four. Possibly at the main expense of Fair Regis who continues to run well but finding one or two too good in the process. Probably the same outcome tonight. Spanish Point scored here when last seen and also has to be respected but however I break it down it looks the favourites to lose.

Race 6 Gulfstream 7.34 Captain Duke (13/8)
Bumped into a useful type in Flawless Moon here last time and looks set to go one better and record his second career win from just six starts; plenty of pace on so should set up for his closing style; big chance.
We head to Gulfstream for our second best bet Stateside tonight and CAPTAIN DUKE is taken to see off these rivals. He ran a big race in defeat last time and if he builds on that he will win this. Rack Gin was well held last time but will find this easier and he looks a colt capable of better so has to be feared. Trisomia has had just three starts but has shown plenty of ability already and did win here on penultimate start. Can’t be ignored but does need to find more to challenge the favourite for me. Hard to see anything other than those mentioned fighting this one out.
