NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT KEMPTON AGAIN ON SATURDAY EVENING!
Kempton 5.30 Redemptive (11/4)
Progressive filly who looked to win outright at Lingfield but deemed a dead-heat; comes here chasing a hat-trick and looks to have an obvious chance under a penalty; more to come yet so worth keeping on side.
Jamie Spencer and REDEMPTIVE looks an ideal partnership in the making and this improving filly is taken to complete the hat-trick. George Boughey is in great form right now and fired in another winner yesterday. This filly has more to come yet you’d imagine so turned out quickly under a penalty they are looking to strike while the iron is hot. She likes passing rivals so will be held up for hopefully a late winning run. Johnny Reb and Mendoza are likely to push forward so it should set up nicely for her. The biggest danger looks to be The Lamplighter who has won here before and finished a creditable third in the Stewards’ Cup consolation handicap at Goodwood when last seen.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT HAYDOCK ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!
Haydock 2.15 Favorite Moon (9/4)
Useful type who put it altogether to edge out Subjectivist over C&D in July; that horse has since won a Group 3 so the form looks rock solid; failed to give his true running in the Melrose last time but worth chancing to bounce back here.
A small but competitive field but FAVORITE MOON is hard to get away from for me. I know he let supporters down in the Melrose at York last time but things just didn’t pan out favourable and he was forced to make his challenge sooner than ideal before backing out of it. His previous form reads well and this is much easier so he looks to have been found a good opportunity to bounce back. I’ll be surprised if he isn’t a fair bit better than a mark of 87 so 2/1 looks too big in my opinion. Arthurian Fable probably just edges Al Dabaran as the main danger. This colt by Sea The Stars backed up his Sandown win with a very good second last time and has to be feared.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Haydock and Kempton on Saturday as we look to get back on track.
