THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT KEMPSEY EARLY ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Kempsey 6.55 Unearthed (4/5)
Well trialled for debut and won impressively, asserting by 3 lengths at Muswellbrook last month; wide draw again but will look to get settled early before coming with a strong late run to hopefully pick them all up again.
We head to Kempsey early on Monday morning for the Aussie NAP and UNEARTHED should prove hard to beat in Race 5 on the card. She is a good looking filly who made no mistake on debut winning comfortably and with usual improvement from one run to the next should prove the answer here as she bids to make it 2-2. The wide gate isn’t a concern as she likes to be held up anyway so hopefully she’ll get cover early before picking them off one by one. Competitive in behind so hard to pinpoint an exact danger but Sister Ellie has plenty of experience and ran well when third at Taree last time. Should be competing for a place off the back of that. Peachies Dream is also thereabouts.

Race 9 Wangaratta 8.00 Chatelaine (1/1)
Probably a bit unlucky not to have won more but showed she was in good form finishing third at Warrnambool last month, coming from well off the pace; good draw and will look to secure a decent early position before finishing best.
The consistent CHATELAINE should get rewarded at Wangaratta early on Monday morning. She raced wide without cover when disappointing at Moe but quickly bounced back to form when a fast-finishing third at Warrnambool last time. If she reproduces that sort of run she will be tough to hold out here and should pick them up late under Billy Egan. This is her best opportunity for a while so it will be disappointing if she can’t get the job done. One Hellofa Family has the form to get involved and looks one of the leading dangers. Sirius Deal often runs a place and looks value for that so might be worth a saver. Not much else appeals though so the favourite should have this wrapped up.
