NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT DONCASTER AGAIN ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
Doncaster 2.40 Sacred (5/2)
Exceed And Excel filly who made the perfect start winning on debut at Newmarket; improved to finish second in the Queen Mary, only headed late; big run again in the Lowther last time; further improvement to come; step back to 5f ideal.
A decent looking renewal of the Flying Childers and the one I can’t get away from is SACRED for William Haggas. This filly made a very promising start beating Sardinia Sunset on debut at Newmarket. She then bumped into Campanelle in the Queen Mary and again improved to chase home Miss Amulet in the Lowther, beaten just a length and nicely clear from the rest. She is still improving and the return to 5f will suit so I fancy her to have too much for these. The Lir Jet stayed on strongly to reel in Golden Pal in the Norfolk and hasn’t done much wrong in defeat since. Denied just a short head in France and then second to the exciting Lucky Vega at the Curragh latest. Looks the main danger!
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT SANDOWN ON FRIDAY!
Sandown 2.30 Dubai Mirage (3/1)
Dubawi gelding who looked a useful individual winning head in chest at Kempton on return in June; down the field in the Britannia but quickly back on track at Haydock winning impressively; 10lb rise perfectly fair.
Quite surprised DUBAI MIRAGE isn’t favourite here. He looked a potentially exciting horse quickening up to win at Kempton on return and while he disappointed at Royal Ascot he was very much back to his best at Haydock last time and is still open to further improvement. The handicapper has slammed him with a 10lb rise but you can’t argue with that given the way he won. Raaeq shaped well when beaten a neck by First Winter over C&D last month and looks to be the biggest danger. Yes My Boy raced closer to the pace than ideal at Haydock and is better than that so while he isn’t completely ignored he will have to show much more to land a blow on the selection here.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Sandown and Doncaster on Friday afternoon.

Limerick
Here’s our Notebook Double. These are two horses we’ve been keeping an eye on that have a good chance of winning. The Tracker Double usually pays better than the Daily Double and must be included. 24/1 WINNER LANDED LAST WEEK AND IT WON AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY!
Here you will find our Daily Lucky 15! It includes both Notebook runners, the Eye Catcher and Value Tip. These are some of our strongest bets of the day combined to try and land that big win.
