Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 Hannah Dances (1/1)
Progressive filly who left her reappearance run well behind winning impressively over track and trip last month; followed up in good style last time and looks set to complete the hat-trick; one to keep firmly on side.
The improving HANNAH DANCES is hard to oppose in Race 7 at Finger Lakes tonight. She has won her last two impressively and has now won three of her five starts. She will be as fit as a fiddle now and has the scope to keep progressing so is a confident selection to come away with the prize again. She had Dublinornothin readily held in second and that horse is the closest rival in the betting so it shows how crystal clear her chances are again tonight. Clara’s Gone West ran well when second last time bumping into Spin A Yarn and could emerge as the main danger to the selection. She needs to find more from somewhere though to cause an upset.

Race 6 Louisiana Downs 11.22 Minji (13/8)
Left the opposition standing winning by 24 lengths over track and trip earlier this month; firmly on the upgrade now and looks a danger to all if turning up in the same form again here; clearly the one to beat.
Following her demolition job I’m actually quite surprised to see MINJI available at 13/8 here. I thought she’d be a shade of odds-on for sure but we’ll take that price and run. She quite simply blew them away last time and if she reproduces that here she will win again. Heffington is the closest rival in the betting but she has a bit to find for me even stepping down in grade. Our Lizzy Lou is probably the each way play in the race as she is decent odds and has some good form to her name on dirt so has to be respected. Fruhl’n Around was beaten over 7 lengths last time so will need to step forward from that to launch any sort of a challenge to the favourite.
