Race 5 Yeppoon 6.34 Flying Crackerjak (4/5)
Likeable type who was finally rewarded for a string of consistent efforts winning at Rockhampton last time; wide gate but good early speed should see him race along on the front; more to come so good chance of following up.
Aussie tips are back and FLYING CRACKERJAK should be hard to beat at Yeppoon overnight. He added a second career win at Rockhampton last time and that was overdue following some big efforts in defeat. He looks well placed to make it 2 in a row and can get across from the wide gate early. He is short in the market but that’s with good reason as he is a standout on recent form. Monstrosity won at Canberra and has been highly tried since so has to be feared back at this level. Art Of Dance improved again to win at Emerald and draws handy so also comes into the reckoning. Hard to see much else landing a blow in a race that lacks strength in depth.

Race 2 Corowa 5.10 Star Of Tennessee (1/1)
Classy mare who made it two wins from five starts dominating at Albury over this distance; positive tactics likely to be adopted again and it will take a good one to stop her returning to the winners enclosure.
Sticking with the improving STAR OF TENNESSEE here for Blaike Mcdougall and Donna Scott. This mare is going the right way and given how lightly raced she is there could be lots more to come yet. She won over this trip last time and has plenty of upside. She will push forward early and look to gallop these into the ground. Mr Moppett has only had 3 starts and did look good at Orange on penultimate start but will need to take another step forward to even challenge the favourite. Easily the main danger though. Mad As Zariz has experience to draw on but doesn’t look to have the potential of the front two. Nothing of note in behind those mentioned.
