THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW CHASING A HAT-TRICK OF WINS!

Race 4 Golden Gate Fields 10.55 Smiling Angelo (5/6)

Smart type who has landed back-to-back wins on this surface coming clear by 4 lengths in a good race last time; open to further improvement as he looks to remain unbeaten at this track on this surface.

The US NAP has been in great form this week and we head to Golden Gate Fields on Friday night in search of a hat-trick. SMILING ANGELO is chasing three in a row himself so looks the one to side with in Race 4 on the card. He showed a great attitude to prevail on penultimate start and backed that up impressively last time. This looks easier if anything so it’s hard to see how he won’t go in again. Aotearoa isn’t getting any younger but has won his last two albeit against lesser opposition. Needs more but still respected. Potente Alba may be the one for the forecast as he has won three of his last four on this surface. I’ll be surprised if anything else is good enough to get involved.

Likeable filly who has won four of her last five and is chasing four wins in a row; 259 days off the track so market will be informative in regards to her fitness but fancied to make a winning return before going onto better things.

I’m not usually overly keen on a horse coming back from an absence but PAYNTDEMBLUESAWAY looks to have real potential and I’m keen to keep her on side as she looks to pick up where she left off. There looks to be good pace engaged so she should get a lovely toe into it before proving too strong in the closing stages. Bath And Tennis used to be trained by Sir Mark Prescott and has done well since coming over winning gamely last time. Probably the biggest danger to the selection as had been running consistently well prior to that too. Dance Or Stroll is the other one worth noting. She got up to prevail by a neck from a useful horse last time so also has to be feared.
