Race 3 Kalgoorlie 7.36 Manhattan Money (1/1)
Likeable mare who has won four of her last five and looks firmly on the upgrade right now; ran on strongly from midfield last time and just keep getting better; easily the one they all have to beat.
I can’t see how MANHATTAN MONEY is beaten on Sunday morning. She is thriving right now and if she reproduces that latest run then quite simply she wins. I’m surprised even money is available as she looks an odds-on shot to me. It’s probably the draw stopping that as she’s out wide but she has the ability to overcome that so it doesn’t bother me. She will want to get settled early and get a nice toe into it before pouncing. If there is a danger then it’s Blooms for me. She is overpriced and should run into a place. Flash Of Thunder is the closest in the betting but he hasn’t really impressed me so will need to find more from somewhere to trouble the two I’ve mentioned.

Race 5 Nowra 6.45 Land Ahoy (11/10)
Impressive start winning easily on debut at Scone; excuses when third at Newcastle (lost a plate) so no surprise to see her bounce back here and resume her progression; one to keep firmly on side.
We head to Nowra on Sunday morning for our second best bet Down Under and LAND AHOY looks poised to go close again. She looked useful winning on debut and given she lost a plate last time she did well to finish third. With further improvement on the cards she will run a big race. The step up in trip looks ideal and I don’t see much in here to rival her hence the short price. First Lady knocked on the door at Wagga last month and is a player if building on that again. First Courrier is exposed but has experience which counts for something so may be in contention for a place. All Tiara needs to show more than what she has done recently to have a say.
