Caught the eye on debut finishing strongly for third, nearest finish; improved behind a progressive pair at Newbury; form of that race working out really well so with more to come looks set to take the beating.
It’s hard to knock JACINTH here. The form of that recent third at Newbury couldn’t really have worked out better with the second Al Saariyah winning a Yarmouth nursery next time and the winner Alcohol Free landing the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at the weekend. Even the fourth Mishal Star has won her next two so in hindsight it was a very good effort. She can step forward again and open her account at the third time of asking. Looktotherainbow is a half-sister to Ribchester and looks sure to improve from her debut effort. Could be the one to put up the most resistance to the selection. Florence Street shaped with encouragement at Kempton and can’t be completely ignored either.

Salisbury 1.55 Fundamental (1/1)
Good looking son of Dark Angel who wasn’t given a hard time when running on for a promising third on debut at Yarmouth; should be more streetwise now and with improvement to come should prove hard to beat here.
Quite a few unknowns here but even still I want to keep FUNDAMENTAL firmly on side. He looked a colt with a bright future when running on for third on debut and with improvement a near certainty should be capable of going a couple of places better. He will be fitter now too so there aren’t many negatives if any. Champagne Piaff also has racecourse experience on side running well when fourth to the smart looking La Barrosa at Ascot and should improve enough to give the favourite a race. The pair dominate the betting and that’s how I see it panning out in the race. Escape is by Territories and is probably the most interesting newcomer. Keep an eye on him in the betting.
