THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT WOODBINE ON THURSDAY NIGHT!
Race 8 Woodbine 11.03 Yzerman (11/10)
Showed a great attitude to open his account over the extended 6f on his penultimate start; very good second over 6f here last time when running on well at the finish; back up in trip and looks to have a leading chance.
This is competitive but I’ll be surprised if YZERMAN is beaten here. He looked to be improving nicely when prevailing by a head on penultimate start and the drop back in trip in a similar contest last time was against him. Back up to 7f he can get himself back in the winners enclosure. Charles Street was third behind him last time so looks held on that form especially given the trip was against the selection. Google It is capable of better so has to be feared. Zoomer Music has been running well on turf so also comes into the reckoning. Captain Vinnie was behind the selection last time so has ground to make up. Hard to picture anything else proving good enough.

Race 7 Belterra Park 8.29 C C My Sis (11/8)
Daughter of Tiznow who benefitted from the drop in grade to finish second over track and trip last month; did well to go as close as she did given she stumbled at the start; this no tougher so obvious chance of getting back to winning ways.
If C C MY SIS can get away cleanly she should prove hard to beat here. That was a big run last time given what happened so must go close. She was running in much better races to this previously so is a leading player in these calmer waters. Allaboutaprincess scored on turf last time and is another filly going the right way so is probably the one to give the favourite a race. Heaven Sent Angel also has the form to be in with a shot so shouldn’t be completely dismissed either. I don’t think Flawless Face or Whateverusaydear are good enough. It represents a great opportunity for the favourite to get back to winning ways so hopefully she proves too good.
