THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT KEENELAND ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 8 Keeneland 9.51 Newspaperofrecord (11/8)
Won impressively on return at Belmont before taking the step up to Grade 1 company impressively next time; did too much early when run down by a length or so last time and every chance of returning to winning ways here.
Sticking with NEWSPAPEROFRECORD to reverse the form with Beau Recall. I think it rather fell in the lap of the latter and if the selection can judge the fractions better she can emerge victorious this time around. She is 5lb better off too and should be able to dominate. Stablemate Uni certainly isn’t out of it but she was third behind the two mentioned and didn’t exactly build on that when down the field last time albeit in a decent event. She will need to find more from somewhere to spring the upset even though she isn’t that big in the betting. This is a great race and hopefully it goes our way. Daddy Is A Legend is a non runner and neither Dalika or Crystal Lake are good enough.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 11 AT PIMLICO ON SATURDAY!
Race 11 Pimlico 10.36 Authentic (13/8)
Smart colt who finished strongly to fend off Tiz The Law in the Kentucky Derby and sets the standard on that brave front-running effort; similar story should pan out here and a similar result too.
Can’t get away from AUTHENTIC here. He lowered the colours of Tiz The Law last month and a similar performance should see him come out on top here. He will go hard off the front and should keep galloping until these have cried enough. Art Collector has looked promising and is on a real roll coming into this having won his last five. This represents another step up but has to be respected. Swiss Skydiver bumped into Shedaresthedevil last time but lost little in defeat and has some strong form to her name so should also be battling it out for a place in behind the selection. Thousands Words changed tactics last time and was seen to good effect but won’t be able to do the same here.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Keeneland and Pimlico on Saturday night.
