Best Australian Horse Racing bets in Australia on Thursday morning
Still buzzing off that 100/1 winner on Tuesday! Not as good last night but hopefully we can bounce back tonight. Racing Down Under from Gosford, Mornington, Armidale, Rockhampton and York.

NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT GOSFORD ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 6 Gosford 6.35 Falcon (11/10)
Promising colt who has only raced twice finishing third at Wyong and then improving to finish second at Randwick; behind the right horses on both occasions and with further improvement on return should get off the mark.
Fit from recent trials (winning two from three) FALCON is expected to open his account here for Peter and Paul Snowden. He has an ideal draw and looks on the upgrade so is one to keep safe. Colonel has been scratched so don’t expect much of a price about the selection but that looks with good reason. Faethm is open to improvement and has to be better than what we’ve seen so is respected. Mollycoddle may emerge as the main danger now as she has the form to get involved. Bar those mentioned it’s hard to make a case for much else so it really does look a golden opportunity for the favourite to open his account on what we’ve seen so far.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT ROCKHAMPTON ON THURSDAY!
Race 1 Rockhampton 4.47 Zoomaratta (11/10)
Looked to need the outing when down the field on debut at Doomben but stepped forward when fading late at Sunshine Coast and much better at Yeppoon given too much to do; coming to the boil now; leading chance.
Given he has improved with every start ZOOMARATTA looks ready to pounce here for Stuart Kendrick. He was only beaten a length last time and with a bit more luck may well have won that (got a bit too far back). He has a good draw here from the low gate and should always be tracking the speed. Not a great deal of pace on but that shouldn’t count against him and he is taken to get off the mark at the fourth attempt. Roaring Spirit is fitter now so has to enter calculations. Tricky in behind those but Thorben might be value to run into a place. He gets the 2kg claim and is quite a big price all things considered. Brahminy and Investible need to find more from somewhere.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Rockhampton and Gosford on Thursday morning.
