NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT NEWTON ABBOT ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Newton Abbot 2.45 Master Tommytucker (1/1)
Smart sort who has fallen the last twice but still has tons of potential in this sphere and granted a clear round should have too much for these; strong traveller who will go hard off the front; the one to beat.
I’ve been waiting to see MASTER TOMMYTUCKER out again and this looks a good starting point for him. His profile isn’t massively appealing given he’s fallen the last twice but I’m willing to forgive him as the ability is definitely there and when he does put it altogether he’s capable of a big performance. He will be ridden aggressively I imagine and it’s unlikely he’ll be caught if his jumping does stand up. Al Dancer has taken well to fences but I expected a better run in the Arkle. He needs to do more and I’ll be surprised if he has enough to overhaul the favourite. Tidal Flow is open to improvement so shouldn’t be dismissed easily. He may be the one to chase the selection home.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) IS STILL CHASING A FIVE-TIMER! RUNS AT GOODWOOD!
Goodwood 1.50 Twilight Heir (1/1)
Twilight Son colt who opened his account in testing conditions at Catterick last month; did too much early when run down at Ripon last time; clearly the one to beat on all known form with the ground in his favour.
Expecting TWILIGHT HEIR to justify favouritism here. He won in good style at Catterick when the mud was flying and wasn’t disgraced in defeat when second at Ripon last time. He probably went a bit too hard early so hopefully Oisin Murphy can get the fractions right this afternoon. We were given a good word for Marks Bear at Ascot and he did shape well in fourth. He needs to improve but probably will and looks the danger to the favourite as the betting is suggesting. Caribou was still green last time so can improve as he gains experience. Looks to be coming up against a couple of useful individuals here though so may have his work cutout again.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Goodwood and Newton Abbot on Sunday afternoon.

Limerick
Here’s our Notebook Double. These are two horses we’ve been keeping an eye on that have a good chance of winning. The Tracker Double usually pays better than the Daily Double and must be included.
Here you will find our Daily Lucky 15! It includes both Notebook runners, the Eye Catcher and Value Tip. These are some of our strongest bets of the day combined to try and land that big win.
