Race 7 Fort Erie 8.58 Auntie Katherine (10/11)
Landed back-to-back wins when last seen on this surface and wasn’t disgraced in a much stronger contest on a synthetic surface last month; up in trip but strong claims of returning to winning ways.
With her sights lowered it’s hard to get away from AUNTIE KATHERINE here and the money is coming. A shade of odds-on at the time of writing she may well end up going off a lot shorter than that. She likes to dominate the opposition and should get her own way here. It probably won’t be pretty but she’ll keep grinding when the others have cried enough. Itstartswithadrink makes his debut on dirt at the age of 6 and may well end up chasing the selection home. Giant Mine struck here on penultimate start but will find this tougher. Could run into a place though if bouncing back after that below par run on turf last time. Twentytwentycrest also has the form to get involved but unlikely to win.

Race 8 Finger Lakes 9.19 Lune Lake (11/10)
Finished behind Treatherlikestar last time but stumbled at the start and then did too much early; had won three in a row prior to that and good chance of reversing the form tonight with the promise of more to come.
I really like the claims of LUNE LAKE here and I’m surprised she has taken a walk in the market out to 2/1 at the time of writing. Her form prior to excuses last time was right up there and if she can get a clean break and set better fractions she should get revenge tonight. Treatherlikestar is favourite and she did finish in front of the selection last time but everything went her way and hopefully that is reversed tonight with the selection getting a fair break before dominating. She is still the biggest danger though so one to watch. It’s 7/1 bar the rest so that tells you the story. Beyondelle has won her last two on dirt and is probably best of the rest. Well held last time though so something to prove.

The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Fort Erie and Finger Lakes on Tuesday night.
