NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT KEMPTON ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!

Kempton 2.22 Fidelio Vallis (11/8)

Promising type who got his act together towards the end of last season, winning impressively at Wincanton and then following up under a penalty over C&D when last seen in March; open to further improvement and obvious chance.

I’m looking forward to seeing FIDELIO VALLIS out again. This French recruit took his time to open his account over hurdles but when he did he was very impressive at Wincanton. He improved to win over C&D under a penalty and should go onto better things this season. I know they’ve always thought a lot of him so this looks a good starting point and he’s expected to have too much for main market rival For Pleasure. The latter is coming here chasing a four-timer but for me he bumps into a very promising horse. Sangha River was rather found out at Uttoxeter last time and might always be struggling against the front pair. Mrs Hyde may be value to chase the favourite home.

NB – Second best selection of the day

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT FFOS LAS OVER JUMPS ON SUNDAY!

Ffos Las 3.45 Vocaliser (7/4)

Caught the eye with how he travelled before holding on narrowly at Bangor on debut for this yard; followed up in really good style last time some 6 and a half lengths clear at the line; looks the one to beat again.

The hat-trick beckons for VOCALISER here. He has been rejuvenated since joining Olly Murphy and if he turns up in the same form under a 12lb rise will be hard to stop again under Fergus Gregory. More Buck’s is the pace angle in the race and I wouldn’t want to see them give him too much rope. Oxwich Bay is the closest in the betting but he is a frustrating sort who usually finds a way to get beaten. Elan De Balme returns from 7 months off and has a bit to prove. Keep an eye on him in the market though being with David Pipe. Parlour Maid has cheekpieces on for her return and has gone well fresh before so may be a bit of value to run into a place.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Kempton and Ffos Las on Sunday afternoon.
