Best bets Stateside on Saturday night
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered FIVE meetings again and picked out our best bets.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW CHASING A HAT-TRICK!
Race 5 Golden Gate Fields 11.22 Foster Boi (5/4)
Showed improved form switched to this surface for the first time when winning convincingly over track and trip earlier this month; looks well placed as he bids to follow up; should prove hard to beat.
We head to Golden Gate on Saturday night for our best bet and FOSTER BOI is expected to justify favouritism in Race 5 on the card. He was never far away on debut on this surface last time and showed a good attitude under pressure to get on top and drive towards the line. He is lightly raced so remains open to improvement especially under these conditions and is expected to take care of these. In terms of a danger it’s probably Alleycat as he has plenty of experience to draw on and has some solid form in the book. El Borracho has been in decent form on the turf and has ran creditably the last twice so shouldn’t be completely discounted either but it’s the fav’s to lose here.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT WOODBINE ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Woodbine 9.09 Jeanie B (13/8)
Useful filly who was previously trained by Mick Channon; won twice in the UK and has shaped with promise in two runs to date since coming to the US; shaped as though needing the run on reappearance and then went down just half a length last time.
Expecting JEANIE B to get off the mark Stateside tonight. That was a big run from off the pace last time and she had a few traffic problems before seeing daylight. She can improve again and this looks easier so she has leading claims. No surprise to see her topping the market at the time of writing. All Quality is definitely the danger. She is a filly I like as well and ran a big race in defeat when second over 6f here last month. I do think she needs more to trouble the favourite but at the same time it should be a good race and I fully expect the pair to be fighting out the finish. Of the rest Holyanna may well end up filling third spot but she hasn’t been seen for 370 days so fitness is taken on trust.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Woodbine and Golden Gate Fields on Saturday night.
