NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) IS STILL CHASING A FIVE-TIMER! RUNS AT WINCANTON ON SUNDAY!
Wincanton 3.27 Oscars Moonshine (10/11)
Turned a corner lately bolting up on handicap debut at Hereford before following up head in chest at Exeter; looks ahead of the assessor so fully expected to complete the hat-trick here; 5lb claimer Bryan Carver also helps.
The NAP is still chasing FIVE winners in a row on Sunday as Wembley was taken out yesterday. We head to Wincanton over jumps and OSCARS MOONSHINE has to be the selection. We were with him at Exeter last time and he crossed the line with plenty still in the tank. Handy 5lb claimer Bryan Carver helps and he looks to have an obvious chance of making it three in a row. Obviously his price is quite short but with the NAP on a run I’m keen to keep that going. Frau Georgia is the closest in the betting but she didn’t find a great deal at Fontwell last time so needs the cheekpieces to help. Fubar is the one I fear most for Kim Bailey. He has his horses in fine form but this one needs to jump better.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT HEXHAM ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Hexham 12.25 On The Wild Side (1/1)
Lightly raced and put it altogether to win comfortably over C&D earlier this month; open to further improvement now and goes well on soft ground so looks to have plenty going for him here; obvious chance.
We head to Hexham on Sunday for our second best bet of the day and ON THE WILD SIDE is fancied to justify favouritism in the opener for Dr Richard Newland. This son of Robin Des Champs improved to win over C&D last time and now he’s got his head in front he could really kick on. He has only actually raced four times so there should be lots more to come you’d think. Conditions are ideal and if he’s come out that race well he looks the one they all have to beat here. Sophie Fatale is yet to get her head in front but she has some solid form in the book so I’m expecting her to make a race of it despite the 9-month absence. Blazing Port has potential so also comes into the reckoning.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Hexham and Wincanton on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s our Notebook Double. These are two horses we’ve been keeping an eye on that have a good chance of winning. The Tracker Double usually pays better than the Daily Double and must be included.
Here you will find our Daily Lucky 15! It includes both Notebook runners, the Eye Catcher and Value Tip. These are some of our strongest bets of the day combined to try and land that big win.
