THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS NOW ON FOR A SEVEN-TIMER! RUNS AT BANGOR!
Bangor 2.00 Good Boy Bobby (4/5)
Lightly raced for his age and looked to be progressing nicely last season narrowly denied by Brewin’upastorm on return before winning well at Wetherby; chased home Mister Fisher at Cheltenham and then not disgraced in a Grade 1 at Sandown; should win.
The NAP won again yesterday meaning we are now on for a SEVEN TIMER on Tuesday. Another short price but that’s with good reason and GOOD BOY BOBBY is expected to win on return. He remains open to further improvement over fences and looks well placed to make a winning return before going on to better things. He mixed it with some very good horses last season and looks a cut above these. Winningseverything obviously comes here with confidence high following back-to-back wins over hurdles but he looks to be bumping into one on chase debut. I expect the pair to finish 1-2 but Antunes is a leggy sort who should do well in this sphere in time.

Southwell 6.20 Xcelente (5/4)
Improving fast and probably unlucky not to be 2-2 on this surface; closing with every stride over 7f here on his first try on this surface earlier this month; built on that up to a mile to win impressively over track and trip latest; 9lb rise not enough to stop him.
The NB also won yesterday landing our Daily Double in the process so we’re now chasing a hat-trick. We head to Southwell on Tuesday night and XCELENTE has taken notably well to fibresand. He flew home on penultimate start and looked a bit unlucky. He quickly went one better over C&D last time and even with a 9lb rise he looks the one to beat as he looks to make it two wins from three runs here. Star Of St James also put in a career best last time so has to be respected but I just think the favourite looks a better horse and should find more if the pair knuckle down to fight it out. Ayr Harbour could be a bit of value if he takes to the surface and may well end up being best of the rest.
