Highly encouraging introduction when denied just a neck on hurdles debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month; winner finished third in Champion Bumper at Cheltenham Festival so form looks strong; sure to improve and hard to get away from here.

You guessed it! The NAP won again yesterday giving us eight in a row so we head into Thursday going for number NINE! We head to Ireland again and DECIMATION is strongly fancied to go one better at Clonmel. He ran a cracker on debut when second to Queens Brook and given that horse had previously finished third in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival he looks a standout here. Rachael Blackmore gets the leg up on this son of Milan and I can see him going off a very short price come post time. Envious Editor remains a maiden after 8 hurdle runs but ran well when third at Listowel and is entitled to step forward from that. Looks the one to chase the favourite home.

Useful mare who brought up the hat-trick in good style at Ffos Las last time, 5 lengths clear at the line; love the way she travels through her races and even with a penalty she could have more to come up in trip so looks the one to beat again.

Fancy MEMPHIS BELL to land the four-timer at Newton Abbot this afternoon. She is clearly thriving right now and looked a happy horse at Ffos Las the last day. She can improve again especially for the extra yardage and even with a big weight looks the one to beat. Royal Claret won when last seen at Hereford and the testing conditions certainly bring her into it. She has to be feared but I’m happy to stick with the mare on a winning streak. My Lady Grey has stamina in abundance and has the form to get involved so also enters the reckoning. Basically this won’t be easy for the favourite but however I break it down I can’t get away from her as she has the most solid credentials.
