Dundalk 3.35 Crystal Dawn (3/1)
Smart filly who improved to win over 6f here in August; tough asks the next twice but firmly back on the upgrade landing back-to-back wins over C&D last month; not done progressing yet and looks to have a big chance under useful 7lb claimer.
The NAP won again yesterday so we are now chasing FOUR in a row! We head to Dundalk on Wednesday and the hat-trick seeking CRYSTAL DAWN looks sure to go close again. She drifted out to 9/4 before holding on gamely over C&D last time and with 7lb claimer Sam Ewing booked for the ride again she looks to have a major shout. Hazard has been sent off favourite the last twice but has failed to land the odds and did run a bit flat at Navan last time. He will probably appreciate being switched to the AW and might be the one to give the favourite a race. Shawaf won a maiden over 6f here last time but may struggle off his revised mark. Koybig is a four-time C&D winner so shouldn’t be entirely ruled out either.

Lingfield 2.00 Newyorkstateofmind (7/2)
Useful type who has held his form notably well all season; ran a cracker in first-time blinkers when denied just a nose here over the minimum last month; should build on that back up in trip and big shout of finally getting back to winning ways.
The NB won yesterday and confidence is high heading into Wednesday. We head to Lingfield and even though it’s been a while since NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND got his head in front I think he is a good bet to return to winning ways here. He was beaten just a nose over the minimum here last time and that’s the closest he’s come since winning at Kempton this time last year. He will appreciate the extra furlong and looks to have plenty in his favour. Chitra is back below her last winning mark and could emerge as a danger. It’s competitive so Little Brown Trout, Fresh Snow and Lilkian all have claims as well. Mews House is probably the pace angle. Hopefully they go a good clip so it doesn’t get tactical.
