Dundalk 7.45 Harry’s Bar (11/8)
Smart sprinter who put in a career best on final start for James Fanshawe, finding plenty; won two of his last three and couldn’t be in better form beating a smart field last time; massive chance from the inside draw.
It’s hard to be against HARRY’S BAR here given the field he beat at Kempton last time. He had Group 2 winner D’Bai back in second as well as several other smart horses. If he reproduces that sort of form on debut for Ado McGuinness then quite simply he will win this. He has the box seat in stall 1 and he will look to get prominent before getting first run on some of those close to him in the betting including stablemate Laugh A Minute. Unforgetable was only sixth here last time but she has some solid form in the book and is expected to be thereabouts. Downforce isn’t getting any younger and is drawn wide so this looks a big ask. Back To Brussels also has a double-figure draw to contend with.

Curragh 1.20 Kailash (6/4)
Mastercraftsman colt who caught the eye finishing second over a mile here on his second start in September; improved on that when narrowly failing to get up at Cork last month; remains open to further improvement and extra furlong will help.
The improving KAILASH should be hard to beat here for Dermot Weld. He finished his race off really well at Cork last time and if he builds on that again going up a furlong in trip he should open his account under Oisin Orr. Strictly on speed figures he is comfortably clear so it’s going to take a big performance from Cleveland to get him out his comfort zone. The latter obviously has to be respected being trained by Aidan O’Brien and he is open to progress but I just think the favourite sets a pretty high standard and should have all angles covered. Bar the front two Ebasari showed bits and pieces of promise when down the field on debut and is bred to be pretty smart so should be running on for a place.
