Race 7 Laurel Park 8.46 Bobby’s Goldengirl (11/8)
Improving filly who showed a good attitude to make the breakthrough at Delaware Park in August; failed to fire next start in tougher company but very much back to form last time, grabbed on the line; back in trip to 7f and hard to oppose now.
Dropping back a furlong BOBBY’S GOLDENGIRL is hard to get away from here. She won in the style of a progressive filly three starts back and she hasn’t been disgraced since. She was unlucky to be nailed right on the jamstick last time and I think this could be her optimum distance now. 11/8 looks fair and it wouldn’t surprise me if she’s backed into a shade of odds-on come post time. Saying that our tips seem to be drifting lately. The NB went out to 2/1 last night before winning so not complaining. Mary’s Jewel is the closest in the betting but she has a bit to prove at the moment. I probably fear Amanite most. She has only had three starts and won her only start on this surface.

Race 4 Churchill Downs 7.30 Kiffle (13/8)
Useful filly who slammed the opposition to win by over 7 lengths on penultimate start before going close up in grade last time just bumping into one; can improve on that and clearly going the right way so one to keep on side.
The NB won again Stateside last night so we are now chasing a FOUR-TIMER at Churchill Downs. KIFFLE was only beaten half a length on return and is likely to step forward physically from that. He win on final start last campaign was mightily impressive and she could have lots more to come yet being just a 4yo. Shackleford County has won her last two but will find this tougher. Even still she looks to be the biggest danger to the selection. Parking Ticket also brings winning form to the table but again she looks to be facing a better calibre of opposition tonight. Centerfold Angel is still relatively unexposed so shouldn’t be entirely ruled out but she was well held last time.
