THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY SO WE HEAD INTO SATURDAY CHASING A HAT-TRICK!
Cheltenham 1.40 Fusil Raffles (11/8)
Taken really well to fences winning both starts beating Gumball with ease at Uttoxeter before following up over C&D last time clear by 9 and a half lengths at the line; jumps well; more to come so hard to oppose.
The NAP landed at Cheltenham yesterday and we head there again on Saturday afternoon as we look to land a hat-trick of winners. FUSIL RAFFLES has been foot-perfect over fences so far and with further improvement a distinct possibility he looks a very solid favourite here for Nicky Henderson and Daryl Jacob. Gumball looks likely to put the pace to the race and that should suit the selection. The latter improved from that third to the selection to win by 6 lengths at Uttoxeter so he comes here with confidence high but I can’t see anything other than a similar result. Eldorado Allen won at the first time of asking over fences at Newton Abbot last month but needs to improve again to make a race of this.

Punchestown 12.15 Darver Star (11/8)
Smart type who did well over hurdles but always been thought of as a chaser; made the perfect start here last month cruising clear and sure to improve with that under his belt; looks one to keep firmly on side.
It’s very much the case of anything over hurdles was a bonus for DARVER STAR as I’m sure connections have always had their eyes on him going chasing. He made a very taking start albeit at cramped odds when winning here on chase debut last month and I’m expecting him to take a big step forward now. This is no easy task with Felix Desjy in here but that’s what gives us the price about him and 11/8 at the time of writing is just too big for me to pass up. I know the market has got it wrong a few times in the last couple of days but I do think it’s more a less spot on here with the pair most likely to fight this one out. Sizing Pottsie and A Wave Of The Sea are useful individuals but this is a very good race.
