The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways overnight as Mother’s Mercy scored at Scone. We head to Rockhampton on Tuesday for our best bet plus racing from Benalla and Grafton!

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT ROCKHAMPTON ON TUESDAY!
Race 3 Rockhampton 5.15 Srini (1/1)
Smart type who is improving all the time; caught the eye when second and built on that again to score over 1300m here last time; fitter again and ready to tackle a mile now so looks the one to beat; keep on side.
The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways overnight and we head to Rockhampton on Tuesday as we eye a quick double. SRINI keeps getting better and this might not take a great deal of winning so he is a confident selection to win again going up to a mile for the first time. Strawberry Blonde is a mare I like and she is very solid but I just think the favourite has the greater potential as she is exposed in comparison. Meatball has been knocking on the door since winning and shouldn’t be completely discounted either but again I think the selection has all basis covered. Nothing really appeals at bigger prices so I think the principals will fight this one out.

Race 4 Grafton 4.20 Rose Bouquet (7/4)
Good looking chestnut filly who was keen and carried wide before going down narrowly at Lismore last time; needs to settle better but clearly has an engine and this looks a good opportunity for her to make the breakthrough.
The strong pace on here should help ROSE BOUQUET settle and if she does she should have too much for these on what we’ve seen. She remains open to plenty of improvement and looks a good bet at 7/4. The longer trip should help as hopefully they can switch her off before bringing her into it. La Cronica is fitter now and has a chance. She needs to improve but hasn’t had the best of trips lately and may do better now. Queens Do Dream should be fighting it out with her for a place but again needs to find much more to trouble the favourite. Shotgun Bobby was only sixth on debut and needs to find considerable improvement even to trouble the frame. Not much else appeals.
