THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT LINGFIELD ON THURSDAY!
Lingfield 3.03 Windswept Girl (13/8)
Well-bred mare who made a winning start in a Taunton bumper doing it impressively; probably improved to chase home a subsequent winner at Aintree last month; promising recruit to hurdling and should take a bit of beating.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure on Wednesday afternoon as Fauvette picked up well to run them down at Kempton. Hopefully we can fire in a double on Thursday and WINDSWEPT GIRL looks a decent bet on hurdles debut at Lingfield. She looked promising in bumpers and the form of her last start where she finished second to Elle Est Belle has worked out notably well with that filly following up in a Listed contest at Cheltenham. She can improve again now tackling obstacles and this looks a good starting point. La Reine Poutine is a half-sister to Brindisi Breeze and looks the main danger. Caught Inthe Slips is another to note and I wouldn’t want to see too much support for her.

Chelmsford 5.00 Ghalyoon (7/4)
Promising type who has run three big races in defeat since returning; lightly raced so could be lots more to come yet and as long as he isn’t given too much to do I think he’ll go close here; one to keep on side.
Not much has gone right for GHALYOON since returning from his wind op but he remains with potential and was denied just a neck last time. He was too keen last time and made his move earlier than ideal before being run down by Documenting. The latter is a very decent yardstick and he has won 2 of his last 3 heading into that race so was in great form. Hopefully Lincoln Park goes hard here as that will suit him as he can drop his head early before picking them off. Just hope he doesn’t have too much ground to make up. Firmament has won here and is a big danger on all known form. Intuitive also needs to bounce back but has had a wind op and is visored so could run well.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Lingfield and Chelmsford on Thursday.
