NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT DELTA DOWNS ON THURSDAY NIGHT!
Race 2 Delta Downs 7.22 Wonder Run (4/5)
Shaped as though needing the run on debut for this yard over track and trip earlier this month; quickly stepped forward from that down to this grade winning impressively last time, over 5 lengths clear at the line; hard to oppose.
The US NAP was a late non runner last night so we head into New Year’s Eve still chasing a double. We head to Delta Downs and WONDER RUN is expected to justify favouritism in Race 2 on the card. He did it so easily last time and I Rate First, who is the closest in the betting here, was over 5 lengths back in second. That horse has his work cutout to try and close that gap and I just can’t see it. It wouldn’t surprise me if they finished the 1-2 again tonight. Buck Duane ran a nice race in third last time. Almost certainly needs more to win this but looks rock solid in terms of running on late into a place (probably third). Theboyzdelight needs to bounce back but some of his previous form stacks up.

Race 2 Fair Grounds 7.29 Swot Analysis (7/4)
Promising colt who left his debut run well behind when winning head in chest by nearly 10 lengths over the extended 5f here last month; looks an exciting prospect so I fully expect him to make it 2 wins from 3 tonight.
The NB held on gamely last night so hopefully we can make it 3 in a row at Fair Grounds this evening to send us into a new year on a high. SWOT ANALYSIS looked hugely promising last time and if he turns up in the same form he will be hard to beat. He is obviously open to any amount of improvement after just two starts and should have too much. Perfect Perigee made a bright start winning on debut over track and trip and can do better too so looks the main danger to the selection. Guice also brings winning form to the table and is another colt with a future. This is tougher though and he might always be playing second fiddle. This looks a good race though and one possibly worth following.

The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Delta Downs and Fair Grounds on Thursday night.
