THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT GEELONG ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 6 Geelong 5.00 Mnemba (6/5)
Good looking chestnut who left previous form behind back from a 13-month absence to win impressively here last time; freshened up since and sure to improve again so looks the one they all have to beat.
The Aussie NAP was back in the winners enclosure overnight and we head to Geelong in the early hours of Thursday morning as we look to follow up. MNEMBA really impressed winning her maiden when last seen in November last year back from a lengthy spell and I fancy her to follow up for Beau Mertens and Michael Kent. 9 horses go to post but it looks a 3 horse race with the selection, Uno Veloce and Almighty Will set to fight this out. The latter ran well when third to Diamond Thora at Echuca and should go well but I’ll be surprised if the favourite doesn’t improve past him. Uno Veloce is probably the bigger danger as she will strip fitter and probably has stronger form than Almighty Will.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT DOOMBEN ON THURSDAY!
Race 8 Doomben 7.20 Roman Aureus (7/4)
Useful type who has 4 wins from 13 starts; likes this track having won 3 from 5 starts and placing twice when beaten; also goes well over this trip so lots to like; good second last time and poised to win again.
We head to Doomben overnight for our second best bet Down Under and ROMAN AUREUS should justify favouritism. His overall profile is a progressive one and I get the feeling there is still more to come from this 4yo. Lubuk brings winning form to the table winning by a head here last month and has to be respected off the back of that. Snowzone would be a topical winner given the conditions back home right now and he ran well when second last time. Looks quite solid to run into a place but probably vulnerable for win purposes. Of the rest Raging Pole might be a bit overpriced as was hampered when fifth last time and did win at Ipswich before that.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Geelong and Doomben in the early hours of Thursday morning.
