THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS NOW ON A HAT-TRICK!
Race 5 Albany 7.25 Fangio (10/11)
Smart mare who ran on strongly from off the pace to win over track and trip last month; still capable of better and looks to have conditions firmly in her favour so can expect another big run; keep on side.
There’s a lot to like about FANGIO here and I think she’s a good bet to justify favouritism for Roy Rogers and William Pike. She did it well last time and if she builds on that run again she should win this. Deangles has been knocking on the door but he has just 2 wins from 28 starts so is probably vulnerable for win purposes, especially bumping into an unexposed horse like the favourite. Amber Highway also has it in him to run well but finds winning tough so might be worth backing to place. It’s 10/1 bar those and it’s hard to recommend much else to challenge the favourite. She looks one of the best bets on the card and is our overnight Aussie NAP!

Race 4 Warrnambool 4.05 Hello Handsome (10/11)
A lot of money came for him on debut and he ran well finishing second at Kerang last month; sure to know more now and open to considerable improvement; expected to go one better and take this out.
The gamble might have been foiled on debut but HELLO HANDSOME is fully expected to put that right now and open his account at just the second time of asking. He is a good looking sort who can win this before going onto better things. He closed in well late in the day last time and I don’t expect him to be given as much to do this time around. The lack of pace on is a slight worry but they should still go quick enough for him to stay on strongly close home. First Mate is by Toronado and he could be a danger on debut. Stylish Snuff is also making his debut and I wouldn’t want to see too much support for him against the selection. Four Outlaws showed ability when third here last time.
