LET’S GET BACK ON TRACK! Tough weekend Down Under but we’re still sitting pretty +87.12 points up for January. Racing from Muswellbrook and Queanbeyan overnight.

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT QUEANBEYAN ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Queanbeyan 5.00 Arabisc (6/4)
Good looking sort who rounded off last campaign with a gutsy win prevailing narrowly at big odds; fresh up after nearly two and a half years edged out late at Canberra last month; more to come and hard to oppose.
This looks all about ARABISC here and if he builds on that reappearance run he should have all angles covered for Luke Pepper and Ellen Hennessy. He has the rail draw and I expect him to push forward and dictate here. He can stamp his class on the race from the off. Disconcerted is a useful mare and like the selection she should have more to offer going forward. She made a winning return but never figured last time and needs to bounce back to make a race of it here. In My Wallet shouldn’t be underestimated either as while she only has one win to her name she has been running in strong races so has the ability to at least be a factor here. I’ll be surprised if any of the others are good enough.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT MUSWELLBROOK!
Race 3 Muswellbrook 3.30 Oakfield Arrow (6/4)
Promising filly who made a bright start finishing third at Gosford having been awkwardly away and held up; sure to know more now and looks to have a big chance of going a couple of places better in this line-up.
We head to Muswellbrook overnight for our second best bet Down Under and OAKFIELD ARROW should be good enough to take this out following an encouraging start at Gosford. She just looked a bit clueless as you’d expect and with that experience under her belt she can make the breakthrough now. Tip Toes should strip fitter now and may well be the one to emerge as the main danger. She was only fifth on return but was only beaten 3 lengths and is better than that. Stonesthrow was also third on debut and she can improve but she’ll need to as the favourite looks to have greater potential. It’s 7/1 bar those mentioned and it’s another race that lacks any real strength in depth.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Muswellbrook and Queanbeyan in the early hours of Monday morning.
