THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 12 AT GULFSTREAM ON SATURDAY NIGHT!

Race 12 Gulfstream 10.44 Knicks Go (11/8)

Classy sort who comes here chasing a four-timer after running out an impressive winner in a Grade 1 at the Breeders Cup when last seen in November last year; 3-3 last term; should win this if in the same form.

What a night ahead Stateside with the Pegasus World Cup meeting at Gulfstream. It’s a bit of a wait for our best bet on the card but hopefully worthwhile as KNICKS GO looks to make it four in a row for Brad Cox and Joel Rosario. This horse has been thriving lately and won all 3 starts last season. He was particularly impressive at the Breeders Cup and if he is in similar form here he should have too much for these rivals. He likes to dictate and there is even potential for a soft lead here which would aid his cause further. Code Of Honor is the closest in the betting and he has been running well but at a bigger price it wouldn’t surprise me to see Sleepy Eyes Todd go well. He has won three of his last four.

Race 6 Mahoning Valley 7.34 Gold Shark (11/8)

Chasing a hat-trick after impressing here earlier this month, winning by four lengths comfortably; should go a good pace so he will just track them through before proving strongest up the straight; obvious chance.

We head to Mahoning Valley on Saturday night for our second best bet Stateside and the hat-trick seeking GOLD SHARK is hard to oppose in Race 6. This 8yo has been in great form and a repeat performance should be enough to take this out. Odie was a good second last time and he would be the danger if backing that run up tonight. Shackleson hasn’t been disgraced recently but he needs to step up a bit to challenge the front two in the market here you’d imagine. Dream Saturday was trailing four lengths behind the selection when last seen so he is probably best of the rest. I think this is quite simple though, if the favourite runs his race then he should have too much for them.
