NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT GULFSTREAM ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 4 Gulfstream 6.10 Never Surprised (11/10)
Progressive colt who made a bright start winning easily on debut before following up in good style last time, showing a good attitude under pressure; should keep improving as he gains experience and the hat-trick beckons now.
This is a good race but I’ve got to be with Todd Pletcher’s NEVER SURPRISED here. This likeable colt is a perfect 2-2 and there’s every reason to think he’ll remain unbeaten after this. He’ll need to improve again given this is a Grade 3 but I see no reason why he won’t and he showed he has the right attitude for the job winning gamely last time. Kentucky Pharoah also comes here on a hat-trick and is feared most. He is likely to put the pace to the race which should suit the selection as he can just latch on before hopefully proving too strong in the closing stages. Original was well beaten last time but shouldn’t be too far away if bouncing back tonight.

Race 7 Aqueduct 8.24 Limonite (6/4)
Likeable type who won three in a row prior to blowing out last time; definitely looks worth another chance freshened up since and if he bounces back he’ll have these hard at work; big chance.
We head to Aqueduct for our second best bet Stateside as we eye up a quick double and LIMONITE can get his head back in front tonight. He won 3 in a row prior to running poorly last time but is much better than that and if bouncing back to his best he will have these covered. American Lincoln won an easier race than this last time but is clearly in good heart and if he builds on that he could run better than his odds suggest. Roaming Union has been out of form but again could get involved if leaving that last run behind. His reappearance effort was actually quite encouraging so he makes each way appeal in an open race past the favourite.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream and Aqueduct on Saturday night.
